Breastfeeding progress ~ 5 months 1 week

It's been a long time I did not record down..(formalnya) my bf experience...

well, I still breastfeed..exclusive okay!..it's just that for the past 2 weeks, my EBM stock is getting less and less...It could be because of the side effect from my Diet program..or probably because of Ryan is getting older?
or??

Hmmm..I admit for the past few days, i have decrease my pumping session from 4 times a day to 3 times a day. It could be that I was busy with the house chores or even tired! I also admit, there was a time..ada evil yang menghasut to even start wean my baby...oh no..................!! I have to stay strong..mentally,physically and of course strong will!! I can't stop! I'm already half way! at least, if I evern wanted to wean him, let it be he turn 1 year old! at least...

But of course, there is a reason why such "weaning" word exist in my mind...it's too personal...I don't and can't even blog or tell it to anyone..except me myself and I.. ;(..huhuhuhu...

Ok now, Ann, let's get started..pile up your EBM stock again.. rajin rajin kan mengepam..even tired ka...busy ka.. that's is the sacrifice that you have to pay! but you know it's worth! to see your son grow with your milk instead of cow..don't repeat the same mistake,,time Aree...oh...poor Aree....

Baby Wearing

I'm actually a fan of baby wearing..but Ryan seems doesn't like the idea.

I bought a Jumpsac Ring sling when Ryan was 1 month old -(gosh that thing cost me RM 135 including shipping!), hoping that I could carry him..but once Me and my hubby tried it out, it was not meant for us I guess!. 1st, Ryan was a big newbie, He's leg were quite long, compare to other baby.. 2nd, I yang kesian tengok dia dalam tu rung sling..nampak mamcam dia suffocated!! hahhahaha...I wanted to try again when he's 6 months old..(which is next month)

When he was  2 months ++ I bought another carrier. which is Mothercare brand. hmm...i just like he structure and the color red and black looks daredevil to me hehehhehe..and that thing cost me RM 169.90..isshhh.....isshhh.. and turned out that Ryan never likes his carrier. When ever I tried to carry him, he will cry like he's stuff inside a guni or whatever!

But, last Sunday, I tried again. and finally..he's quite comfortable..within 20 minutes he fall asleep...amazing...since he's is teething, the part he likes the most about the carrier was when he was able to chew the sponge/tali next to his mouth!..no wonder he diam diam..rupanya...ya Allah..he was chewing the thing until my baju also got wet!..haiiiiyaa....

Nevertheless  I'm happy! senang nak bawa dia sini sana dgn carrier..bukan ringan si Ryan ni..8.5 kg?? angkat with your own bare hand??? hmmmm....tegap la I ni..

Tengok tu...kesedapan dia makan tu spongy....hehehhe.

On Diet, bored, bla bla bla...

Seriously........I am on diet!!
can't wait for my progress....

Seriously..tonight..I'm soo..........damn bored......what else to do after the house chores???
only me and sons di rumah..itupun Aree & Ryan tidur awal......huhuhuhu...

2. cleaning the mess after cooking - done
3. laundry - done
4. susun baju, stuff in CD - done
5. iron baju aree - not done coz belum kering..
6. pumping - ehhmm.nanti at midnite..
7. blogging - tengah blog lah ni..
8. cuci Ryan punya CD-  not done, nanti jam 11 pm.
9. cuci toilet - done, tapi yang di luar saja...
10. packing barang2 Aree for t'row - alaa...almost lupa, ok mo buat la ni...
11. facebooking - ehhmm...on going, every 30 minutes..hahahahahha...

Ryan at 5 months ~ 22nd March 2010

How time flies.. Ryan is already 5 months old
he's getting cuter and cuter..

At 5 months  Ryan -

• Sudah turn around..actually, I've noticed him did that at 4 months in 2 weeks...but with our help la..but now, he can do it himself..
• Starts calling his tooth! hahahha..that's what my mum call...he likes to make a bubble of his saliva and play with it..and sometimes ketawa sendiri...Funny kali kan..
• Getting heavier and lengthier...i bet dia mesti lagi tinggi dari abangnya ni..
• Shows the sign of readiness of his 1st solid food. but the mommy yang belum ready lagi ni...not sure he's ready ka tidak. when Aree coming got 6 months few years back, like the typical mother and adviced by my mom and my aunt, I started to give Aree cereal miixed in his milk..but now, i realized (After thorough reading) that was not the right method. this time, i wanted to fed Ryan in a right way, let him know that his 2st solid food supposed to be spoon or finger feed. Be it any fruit puree, or even bubur nasi...Insyaalah,..let me try..see how it works.
• Alhamdullilah...up to now, My lil Ryan belum di serang demam lagi...I think this is berkat dari susu ibu...YES...I still exclusively breastfeed him...I know..it's really challenging..really...it's hard..I have to kasi kuat semangat jak ni..
• until now, he doesn't like to be wrap (baby wear)..I wasted away my money to bought Mothercare carrier that cost me RM 169.690 and Ring sling that cost me RM 140.00.I think, he rimas bah tu kena wrap wrap..panas bah maybe hehehehhe..
• he weighs 8.45 kg and 67 cm tall.
• he did not cry when the doctor injected him..his facial expression was sort of like..uwwgghhh..wat was that..macam kena gigit semut?? hahahaha..
• Alhamdulillah..he does not as cranky as before, it's so easy to make him sleep at night! when. he's too sleepy, I just have to lay him down and he will sleep himself...

My Long lost passion...

Hahahhaa....what is it? Baking la... I love baking so...much...I know I have a hidden talent on that. I know I can bake a delicious yummy cake, IF I practice more, 2-3 times a week at least...The only thing is that, I lack of decorating skills..I can improve it..with a lot, a lot of practices. Errghh...and..I'm not creative..Can't think of my own design...that..I don't like about me..not specifically in cake decoration, but with most of things that involve creativity...

Ok, back to cake baking, before I got pregnant with my 2nd Son, I used to bake & decorate fresh cream cake..I even managed to get some order from my cousins and friends.. I think I want to start over. I want to enroll myself again to cake baking and decoration class and master the skills. Creativity comes later la...Itu lain crita...tiru jak orang lain punya design and revamp it a bit..tadaa....that's my cake! hahahahha...

One thing that, my equipment is not complete yet, I'm in need to buy a heavy duty oven and heavy duty mixer...if I have these 2 equipment my "cake" kingdom is complete...

So this year, I'll definitely want to receive order for Layer Cake..I just use my existing oven yang not soo heavy duty la.....Yeah...I'm good at it..well, I only bake it once a year...apa lagi during Hari Raya season la...I know I can do it..I just have to set up my determination to the highest mode.. besides, I can get quite a lot of money..yeay....

Selling CDs - My part time business

After cracking my head. Thinking whether I should carry on this part time business or not, at the very last, I have decided – “I SHOULD” go on with it. I feel like I rather die trying and know the result. Doesn’t matter I Succeed or failed! At least I know! Rather than I die for not trying at all! That, my friend. Even worse.

I know, it’s not easy. Even this is only part time aka small business. Right after this idea pop up, I faced two obstacles!

• Is not easy to get support from your friends/families. I remember somebody told me that when you’ re trying to do something new aka businesses, the one you hope the most aka your friends/families, not all of them will show the liking to your ideas. Some of them will encourage you to go for it – Which is good and they can consider as your true friends/families and they’re not holding you back! But most of them. Hmmm….they rather “die” (I think) from encouraging you to proceed with your ideas or etc etc etc..You know what I mean…
• Start up capital – which is my main issue now!, since we just bought and moved to a new house on December 09, almost 98% of our savings streamed to the house, renovations, furniture, etc etc..I do not dare to withdraw any more bucks from the saving. We have to have if for emergency.. Knowing that ...shit happens! I have to find ways how?? My husband does not like the thought of “mortgage” from the financial institutions. Even me to! We have enough commitment to pledge on (the house, the car, the credit card, kids school/baby sitter fees, etc, etc) my last option, is, to borrow some money from my mum – which she has turned me down! To my disbelief! How could she? Or maybe my business proposal was not really convincing? I was like OMG…it hurts me…A LOT! But it’s okay. (It took me almost a week to recover) .I take it up as a challenge!

Okay, so what I’m gonna sell?

• Hm…some baby/kid stuffs. Since my $$$ is not consenting me to purchase variety of stuffs, so I guess I will focus on selling cloth diaper. It’s not a branded one..Like Happy Henys ka, Bum Genius ka, Growbaby ka, Bitti’ Diish ka, Bottom Bumper ka etc.. It’s actually just an ordinary CD - made in China. The quality wise, it’s not bad at all! I’ve been using it for 3 months now.
•  My review, I tried Happy Henys, Bottom Bumper, Bitti’ Diish, Dream Eze, Tiny Tush..It performs the same quality/standard as the made in China one [the fact is, those branded CDs are also made in China what? If you see the reverse side, you can see that it stated “Made in China”. You indeed are buying the brand.]! Even My iPhone 3Gs is clearly stated assemble in China..hmmm..
• In line of the concept of diapering your child saves our $$$ I think buying these non-branded CD is much more worth every penny spends.  I spend almost RM 1000.00 to get those branded CDs whilst I’ve spend RM 200.00 to get 12 pcs of non – branded CD that carry the same quality as the branded CDs. For mothers out there, do not feel offended on my review. This is what I’ve experienced. Well everybody has their on thoughts right?

Okay, How to get it/do it?

• Found my suppliers. 2 of them. Quite a good wholesale price though. Already place my order anyway.
• My start up capital?? Let see…have to dig in & out la...for sure it’s my own money...
• How to sell? Let see, at the moment I only can think two ways , mouth to mouth, flying brochures to my neighbors inbox..

Okay, where I’m gonna do it/ sell it?

• Of course, this is part time. So I’m gonna sell it from home to home, hand to hand,
• On line store. But this is to be KIV. Since I do not have a lot of stuffs in hand, I do not want to publish and promotes my web to public/people. It will embarrass me!well..1st impression is important!

Okay, Who is my customers?

• Strangers?
• Neighbors
• Relatives
• Friends

Okay, when to do it?

• Anytime if I received order la..
• Or if I go to kenduri kendara ka, family gathering ka, will bring few stocks in and promote cloth diapering. 

Okay, last but not least, WHY I want to do it?

• To sustain my family income of course.
• To have extra money for my own personal use. So that I can shop my own personal things, going to spa-ing my self without having a 2^nd thought that the money i have in my bank account is for household, bills, etc.
• I wanted to buy sewing machine! I want to gain skills in sewing so that I can make money out of it.
• I wanted to have my own extra money to buy things that I want without asking it from my husband. (The thing about me is that, when I want something and asked from someone, I don’t ever like to be turned down. It really makes me soooooooooo…frustrated.)

Hmmm…what a long write up ah..I feel somewhat relief though! I wish my self all the best of luck! May I be success..and let my business grow and grow…

Family Outing…Feb/Mar 2010

Last 2 weeks have been a blast to us! Hahhaha…As a “Love- to-hang out” family, we’ve been hanging out to of course our so called 2^nd home “1Borneo”, we go there almost like 3-4 times a week. The reason is because, it’s near to our house, only 5-8 minutes drive... of course...short cut...ikut jalan from University Apartment…there was 1 time my bro in law mentioned that going from/to our house from/to 1 Borneo is like a “snake” U-turn sana, U- turn sini…when we pikir pikir  balik..betul bah jugak..Almost 4 U-turns wo..

We are at 1 Borneo...

Si Cute Ryan...

2^ndly, our 1^st   out door activity for 2010, bring Aree to swimming. Not a real swimming la…both me and my hubby do not know how to swim! Hehehhe…but Aree should and must know! It’s part of his “Wajib” curriculum beside martial arts and music! I wanted him to learn how to swim so that he could survive in any unforeseen circumstances (when ever we have water activities). Of course, with all my might, I try not to bring my sons go mandi laut…scarry wo….touch wood!!

Ok, back to the pool story, I was very happy to see Aree happy! It was worth! He couldn’t stop smiling when he was in the pool, as early as 6 am he woke up, and keep mentioning that 7.00 o’clock will coming shortly that we should get ready! This boy ah…kalau mau janji sama dia mesti mo buat wo..kalau tidak…he will remember until he grows up maybe…

Oh ya, forgot to mentioned, that we went to Beringgis Beach Resort’s pool. Unfortunately this is the 1^st and last we bermandi manda di sana..as the receptionist mentioned that starting 2010, their pool only for their guest! So to have that privilege, we have to stay there! Which is nonsense! My parent’s house is just 0.5 minutes away from the resort! Hmmmm…we have to find other resort that can let non-stay guest to utilize their pool facility!

Maternity Attire

Hahahha…I know I know…it’s too early…but it was a good deal…my friend told me that there was this shop “on sale” maternity attire for 50% off.. and baju dia pun cute cute..and sized! Not free size ah….so, last week, I went to this shop and managed to get one!, green color! It cost me RM 69.95. the original price is RM 139.90. so it’s worth to buy!..the dress kinda cute…green color…. My hubby said it ‘s like the “susu cap junjung” uniform.. ishhhh…whatever…for me, I like it, and it’s totally worth my money…
